We are growing rapidly and have studios in India (Gurgaon, Bangalore, Pune) as well as teams in the US, UK, Japan, and the Philippines. Our studio works on multiple exciting projects simultaneously, offering variety and involvement. We have worked on some of the biggest IPs in gaming, including Diablo Resurrected, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Halo Infinite, Returnal, Forza Horizon 5, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Borderlands 3, FIFA Online 4, PUBG: New State, Sea of Thieves, Amazon: New World, Dauntless, State of Decay 2, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, among others. As our studio continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Principal Narrative Designer (UK time zone preferred but not required) to join our team. This is a fully remote 6-month freelance contract starting in June 2025, with the possibility of extension for another 6-12 months. This position is remote but requires working within UK timezone hours. What we are looking for: 7+ years of experience as a narrative designer, including writing and implementing dialogue to support the player journey Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine and experience with dialogue systems Ability to craft and edit compelling dialogue for characters, missions, and cinematics Experience guiding and mentoring other writers for quality and consistency Familiarity with creating and maintaining narrative design documentation Strong understanding of non-linear narrative structures and systems Ability to align story beats with gameplay and level design Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proactive, collaborative, and capable of working across disciplines Benefits Keywords Studios is committed to an Equal Opportunities Policy and strives to create an inclusive workplace for all employees and applicants.
