Process incoming merchandise at Talize in Hamilton, Ontario, using careful sorting, tagging, grading, and pricing skills. Open availability is required.
As a Merchandise Processing Team Member, you will keep thrift merchandise moving from donations to the sales floor. The work includes rack organization, stock replenishment, sale preparation, and customer service. You will also maintain processing quality, communicate with teammates, and support daily store routines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, sort, tag, grade, and price incoming merchandise
- Organize items by category, size, and colour
- Support donation flow, floor changes, and replenishment
- Maintain clean, organized, hazard-free processing areas
- Report hazards and follow safety protocols
Requirements:
- Sharp attention to detail and consistency
- Comfort working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and respectful communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
