About The Role  

 

As the Marketing Director at Little Kitchen Academy reporting to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications, you will lead high-funnel initiatives, overseeing PR, social media, influencer partnerships, content creation, and event efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and ultimately, enrollment.  

 

How You Will Make an Impact  

 

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive omnichannel content strategy aligned with the company's objectives to drive brand awareness, engagement, and enrollment. 

 

Public Relations: Work with PR agency to develop engaging pitch strategies and build and maintain relationships with media outlets in order to gain coverage across all key markets. 

 

Social Media Management: Oversee all social media channels, including content calendar, creation, posting schedules, and community engagement leveraging internal and agency resources. Develop strategies to grow and engage our social media following. 

 

Influencer Partnerships: Work with agency and franchise partners to identify and collaborate with relevant influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify our message and reach new audiences. 

 

Event Management: Plan and execute marketing events to promote Little Kitchen Academy and engage with our target audience and leverage influencer relationships. 

 

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Recipe Development, and Company Owned, to ensure content strategies are aligned with business goals and objectives. 

 

Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign ROI. Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and tactics. 

 

Who You Are  

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Business Administration, or related degree   
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on high-funnel initiatives such as PR, social media, influencer marketing, and event management. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, result-driven startup environment 
  • Experience in Early Childhood Education, Montessori, Child Enrichment, Franchising is an asset 
  • Leadership & strong influence skills with the ability to lead franchise partners and senior management through influence and persuasion 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, ability to multi-task with several priorities 
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and influencing skills 
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation), with the ability to convey facts and ideas clearly to both individuals and large groups 
  • Ability to work from our Point Grey, Vancouver location 4 days per week and flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed 

 

Total Compensation Range $100k - $150k
