About Air Inuit Since 1978, Air Inuit has been more than just an airline — it has been a lifeline. Born from the vision and resilience of the Inuit of Nunavik, and proudly owned through the Makivik Corporation, Air Inuit has connected communities across the vast, breathtaking expanse of Northern Quebec and beyond. Air Inuit’s aircraft have flown through some of the world’s most challenging skies — 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. From the versatile Twin Otter to the powerful Boeing 737 800NG, a fleet of over 35 aircraft carries not just passengers and cargo, but stories, hopes, and essential services to the people of Nunavik. Behind each flight is a team of over 1,200 dedicated professionals, each committed to a shared mission: to operate with safety, reliability, and heart. Air Inuit is more than transportation. It’s a symbol of self‑determination, a bridge between tradition and progress, and a testament to what’s possible when a community takes flight together. Why Join Air Inuit Every day, something extraordinary happens in the skies above Nunavik. Respond to evolving needs and perform additional tasks as directed by the Chief Flight Attendant. What Makes You a Great Fit Valid passport and ability to travel. High school diploma or equivalent education. Fluent in French and English; knowledge of Inuktitut is considered an asset. Minimum 1 year of experience working with the public in a customer‑facing role. Availability to complete and successfully pass the Transport Canada‑approved 6‑week training program in Montreal. Meets health requirements, including a pre‑employment medical evaluation and drug screening (legal and illegal substances). Meets judicial requirements, including a pre‑employment criminal record check. Professional appearance, reliability, and commitment to representing Air Inuit standards. Compensation Salary and benefits are determined according to company policy. Entry salary of $43,477.50 on an annual basis with an increase after 6 months of continuous service.
