Electrical Designer – Traffic Signals at GHD Location: Whitby, Ontario, Canada Responsibilities Preparing designs for projects involving traffic signalization and street lighting systems Generating design drawings in MicroStation and AutoCAD environments Conducting site investigations and inspections Coordinating with design team members Performing quality checks of design drawings Adhering to project budgets and timelines for deliverables Mentoring junior staff Qualifications College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology Minimum 5 years’ related experience Thorough knowledge of MicroStation and AutoCAD / ACC environments Detailed knowledge of industry standards and design guidelines, including Ontario Traffic Manual OTM Book 7, 12 and 12A, IESNA RP‑8, and applicable TAC guidelines Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Self‑motivated and able to work on multiple projects Strong analytical skills Ability to exercise sound judgment and to work independently with minimal supervision Experience with AGI32 will be considered an asset G class driver’s license EEO Statement GHD is an equal opportunity employer.
