We're seeking a Scrum Master consultant for a 2‑year contract position starting in either February or March 2026. This is a hybrid role requiring 2‑3 days onsite per week in downtown Toronto. This is for a data transformation project migrating large data sets from multiple on‑premise legacy environments to the Cloud (Databricks), as well as transforming the data for consumption and building end‑user reports (preferably to address regulatory requirements). Experience 7+ years of Scrum Master experience Strong Jira software experience Ideally experience in large Data Migration project/s Scrum/Agile Certifications Responsibilities Schedule and lead all Scrum events, such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Guide the team and the organization in adopting and following Agile principles and Scrum practices. Identify and remove impediments or blockers that slow down the team's progress. Serve as the bridge between the development team and other stakeholders, including the Product Owner. Continuously improve its processes and workflow through Agile methodologies. Key Skills and Attributes 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master Deep knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and related best practices. A focus on serving the team, rather than traditional command-and-control management. The ability to coach, mentor, and facilitate effective communication within the team and with stakeholders. Strong skills in identifying and resolving issues, managing risks, and handling problems that arise. Nice to have: Project exposure within the Risk Management business area.
