Requisition ID : 18649 Employment Type : Full Time Job Category : Field Sales Job Grade : Pseudo Grd 10 Work Location : Hamilton Niagara South ON Region- Omnitool and MSC State or Province : Ontario (CA-ON) BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth within a defined territory by promoting and selling metal cutting tools and metrology solutions. This role involves managing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical support to ensure customer satisfaction. Duties And Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify and achieve territory revenue goals. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the metal cutting and metrology segments. Territory Manager will develop and maintain relationships with contacts that are users, influencers and decision makers. They will develop and maintain relationships with numerous contacts across different functional departments in each account. Team with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver expertise and value relevant to specific categories of products and solutions. Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and internal teams. Collaborate with suppliers to propose tailored solutions. Create constructive tension by reshaping the customer's perspective on their business. Use data-driven insights, industry benchmarks, and proven best practices to introduce fresh ideas that challenge the status quo, highlighting how their current approach may be costing more than they realize. Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to remain competitive and proactive. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and submit regular updates on sales plan achievement. Ensure customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution and follow-ups. Participate in trade shows, seminars, and customer events. Leverage CRM tools to manage accounts and track sales activities. Partner with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and service delivery. Uphold MSC's core values and promote a positive company image. Foster the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose. Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required. Qualifications What You Need 3-5 years of sales experience in metal cutting or industrial tools. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong technical understanding of metal cutting and metrology applications. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory. Experience with leading brands of cutting tools (e.g., Sandvik Coromant, Kennametal, Seco, Iscar, Walter, Mitutoyo). Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Ability to analyze data to drive business decisions. Strong customer service orientation. Self-motivated and goal-driven. Bonus Points If You Have: Experience working with manufacturers or industrial distributors. Familiarity with CNC machining processes and measurement technologies. Other Requirements: Position requires up to 70% travel (non-overnight). Valid driver's license required. Compensation starting at \$57,000 - \$69,000 depending on experience. Salary + commission + Car Allowance. The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
