Responsibilities As a Workday AMS Lead Canadian Payroll Consultant at Kainos, you will be responsible for ensuring successful post‑deployment service delivery of Workday solutions for clients. This includes configuration and functional changes in a post‑production environment, responding to customer cases on a prioritized basis, and providing post‑production support. You may also engage in implementation projects to enhance, fix, or extend existing Workday Canadian Payroll implementations. The role excludes payroll operation and direct worker payroll support and involves mentoring junior team members. Work can be performed remotely (anywhere in the US or Canada) or in a hybrid on‑site option near Toronto. Qualifications Workday Canadian Payroll Certification Strong understanding of Workday Canadian Payroll Excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs, build relationships and manage customer expectations. Push back, escalation and go above and beyond to satisfy a customer. Strong communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility and empathy, including in a remote working situation. Formal present to senior client audiences. Ability to design and architect scalable and optimal Workday Canadian Payroll solutions. Ability to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure while balancing customer demands and Kainos commercials. Strong consulting skills (presenting, leading workshops, demonstrating and explaining complex functionality or solutions to customers). Willingness to act as a role model and mentor, and/or line‑manage more junior consultants. Willingness to support the sales process, including producing estimates for delivery of work packages. Able to rotate through various Workday delivery services, specifically Consulting and Application Management Services. For Application Management Services, able to deliver work to meet defined Service Level Agreements. Able, if required, to travel to customer sites in the same region (minimal out‑of‑region travel may also be required). People Management Agree, set and review team goals aligned to Kainos, Workday BU and capability. Provide support so goals can be achieved. Review and refine goals for relevance and keep performance on track. Review performance against goals and provide feedback. Identify training to support team development.
