Art Engineering Inc. (AEI) is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Kingston, Ontario. Primary Responsibilities Complete structural analyses, calculations, and designs for a variety of projects Prepare structural drawings and technical reports for projects, while peer reviewing the work of fellow team members Conduct site inspections and field reviews Manage communications with contractors, clients, subconsultants, and internal teams throughout projects while strengthening professional relationships Manage projects to ensure schedule milestones and budget constraints are met Draft structural drawings and write technical reports Correspond / communicate with contractors and clients Minimum Qualifications 5-8 years of relevant experience in Ontario (ideally with structural rehabilitation, restoration and/or maintenance projects) Knowledge and understanding of relevant local standards and codes (OBC, NBCC, MTO Manuals, etc.) Moderate level of proficiency in AutoCAD High level of proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills Valid ‘G’ driver's license and access to personal vehicle for travel to project sites Professional Engineer Designation (P.Eng) issued by Professional Engineers of Ontario Benefits of working at AEI Competitive base salary dependent on specific level of experience Paid vacation Performance based bonuses Flexible working location (hybrid) and hours (following probationary period) RRSP matching program Regular company social events and networking opportunities Opportunities to work on diverse project types and scopes Small-mid size company allowing for more direct collaboration with all levels of staff and varying responsibilities Job Type: Full-time Education Bachelor's Degree (required) Experience Structural engineering or relevant construction: 5-8 years (required) Note: This description omits form fields and extraneous notices and focuses on role responsibilities, qualifications, and benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
