Typical office hours are 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday at our Administrative Office at 1380 Waverley St, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 0P5. This internship will begin in May and run to August 2025.Starting as an Accounting Intern, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis. Duties include but are not limited to:Assist in preparing financial statement & analysisWork closely with rental branches and other departmentsAssist accounting supervisorwith reports, etc.Assist in preparation of balance sheet schedulesAssist with operational location auditsPerform miscellaneous administrativeduties as neededMust be at least 18 years old.Must be currently enrolled in the final year of bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Must be a current university student graduating with a bachelor's degree on or before June of 2026.Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents within the past 3 years.No drug or alcohol related conviction (DWI/DUI) on driving record in the past 5 years.Must be authorized to work inCanada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.CAD $20.00 / Hour
