Overview Fleetway Inc. is hiring Intermediate and Senior Electrical Engineers and Technologists to support exciting, high-impact work from offices across Canada. You’ll play a key role in major defense projects, helping ensure the Royal Canadian Navy remains ready to help, ready to lead, and ready to fight. Responsibilities Develop technical studies, electrical drawings, and system specifications for naval and commercial vessels. Select and integrate equipment across various electrical systems. Perform analyses of power and communication systems, including voltage drop and short-circuit current calculations. Prepare clear, detailed reports to support engineering recommendations and decision-making. Integrate engineering changes into existing ship designs while ensuring regulatory compliance and system integrity. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to execute complex systems integration projects. Qualifications Education: a degree in Electrical Engineering or a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology. Experience & qualifications: minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and engineering design/integration projects; proficient in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD; comfortable with Microsoft Office tools; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; naval warship design or marine defense project experience is a strong asset. Engineering candidates must be licensed, or eligible for licensure, with Engineers Nova Scotia (or equivalent provincial body), and must maintain licensure in good standing throughout employment.
