Job Description We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Capacity Planner to join our team. The role requires a strong understanding of data analysis, supply chain management, and operational processes. Key Responsibilities Develop the Demand Planning Process: Analyze and map the current flow of information, then design and implement a structured, end-to-end demand planning process. Gather Intelligence: Liaise directly with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to gather crucial customer feedback, market intelligence, and promotional information to enrich the forecast. Forecasting and Analysis: Analyze historical data, market trends, and business forecasts to predict future capacity requirements for people, equipment, and facilities. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long‑term and short‑term capacity plans to align with business objectives and mitigate potential bottlenecks. Data Modeling: Create and maintain capacity models to simulate different scenarios and assess the impact of various business decisions. Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams to gather data, understand business needs, and communicate capacity‑related insights and recommendations. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key capacity metrics, identifying areas for improvement and making data‑driven recommendations. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve capacity planning processes, tools, and methodologies. Peak Season Preparation: Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient use of assets and timely delivery of products or services. Risk Management: Identify potential capacity constraints and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Experience: 4–5 years of experience in capacity planning, demand planning, supply chain analysis, or a similar role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R); experience with capacity planning software or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle); strong understanding of statistical forecasting methods; proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, strong communication and presentation skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment, exceptional attention to detail, ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound decisions with incomplete information.
