Structural Steel Engineer – Major Nuclear Project (Toronto–Darlington, Canada) Join to apply for the Structural Steel Engineer - Nuclear Project (W/M) role at EP2C. About The Company And The Role We are looking for a Structural Steel Engineer to join our client, a leading player in the nuclear sector, for a major nuclear project based in Toronto – Darlington (Canada). Your Roles and Responsibilities Participate in the design and structural analysis of steel structures for a major nuclear infrastructure project. Perform structural calculations in compliance with Canadian and international standards. Produce and review drawings, calculation notes, and related technical documentation. Coordinate technical interfaces with internal teams, partners, and subcontractors. Take part in technical reviews, propose optimizations, and resolve structural issues. Ensure compliance with QSSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) requirements and contribute to high-quality technical deliverables. Education Engineering degree, Master’s degree, or equivalent (Bac+6/7/8) in civil engineering, structural engineering, or mechanical engineering. Experience 5 to 10 years of experience in the design and analysis of steel structures, ideally in nuclear or large industrial projects. Experience in Canada is an asset (ideally already based in Canada). Skills Strong capabilities in structural analysis and mechanics of materials. Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively. Rigorous, autonomous, and proactive. Languages Fluent English required, French is an asset.
