Inspect and package protein products as a full time General Laborer Packer in Richmond, BC. Apply attention to detail and food safety standards.
This warehouse position supports production operations under the Production Manager or designate. You will inspect products, vacuum seal packages, verify labels, and prepare orders according to customer specifications. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect protein products against quality standards before packaging
- Vacuum seal products in appropriate customer packaging
- Verify weights, descriptions, lot information, and dates
- Check seals for tears, damage, leaks, or contamination
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is an asset
- Previous packaging, warehouse, production, or food experience is optional
- Willingness to work with raw meat products
- Ability to work in refrigerated production environments
- Ability to move products weighing 30 pounds or more
