The Opportunity We’re seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimize our cloud-native DevOps and CI/CD infrastructure. You’ll work closely with development and product teams to automate deployments, manage Kubernetes-based environments, and ensure scalability, security, and reliability across our platform. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multi-repo environments using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and related tools. Build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters and Helm-based applications. Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, or Ansible. Develop automation scripts in Python and Bash to improve reliability and reduce manual effort. Manage containerization workflows — building optimized Docker images, securing registries, and automating image scanning. Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/Loki. Lead database migration automation and ensure schema versioning consistency (e.g., Liquibase, Flyway, or similar). Integrate security testing (code, container, and dependency scanning) into the CI/CD process using tools like SonarQube, Trivy, Snyk, or Anchore. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify gaps, propose improvements, and implement best practices for scalability and security. What you’ll bring 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience in cloud-native environments. A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup. Strong communication and collaboration skills across global teams. Passion for automation, scalability, and secure DevOps best practices. Skills Strong knowledge of pods, deployments, services, and ingress controllers. Experience managing multi-service distributed applications on Kubernetes. Familiar with ConfigMaps, Secrets, namespaces, and RBAC. Knowledge of autoscaling, resource management, and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana).. Experienced in building and maintaining Helm charts and templating for deployment automation. Versioning and promoting releases across dev/staging/prod. 3. ArgoCD (GitOps) Hands-on with GitOps workflows, declarative configurations, and multi-cluster management. Skilled at rollbacks, troubleshooting sync issues, and managing environment parity. 4.CI/CD & Automation Advanced Jenkins experience with Jenkinsfile, shared libraries, multi-branch pipelines, and build agents. Integration with Bitbucket, Docker Hub, and artifact repositories. Familiarity with Git branching strategies, Bitbucket Pipelines, and GitLab Runners. 5.Docker & Container Management Writing optimized Dockerfiles and implementing multi-stage builds. Managing private registries, image scanning, and security compliance. Deploying workloads on AWS, GCP, or Azure, leveraging managed K8s services (EKS, GKE, AKS). Infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, including VPC, networking, and storage. 7. Observability & Reliability Using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Loki for full-stack observability. Setting up alerting and metrics-driven scaling. Experience with Velero for backup and disaster recovery. 8. Security & Compliance Implementing RBAC, PodSecurityPolicies, and OPA/Gatekeeper. Managing secrets via Vault, SOPS, or SealedSecrets. Conducting code and container security testing as part of DevSecOps. 9. Database Migration & Automation Managing database migration pipelines using Liquibase, Flyway, or similar. Automating schema versioning and rollback processes. 10. Scripting & Development Strong Python and Bash scripting skills for automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure tasks. Comfortable reading/debugging application code (Python, Node.js, or Go). Understanding of microservice architectures and API-driven development. Bonus Skills Familiarity with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd). Experience with Kustomize alongside ArgoCD.
