Senior Software Engineer

What You’ll Do Design, develop, and enhance Java‑based applications using AWS, Spring, Apache Camel, Kafka, and SQL. Expand and optimize the client’s Data Mesh framework, enabling new data feeds from internal systems, Salesforce, and external vendors. Implement real‑time event processing using Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS. Develop and maintain data transformation logic using Apache Camel. Create secure, scalable database schemas, stored procedures, and queries. Collaborate closely with product, architecture, and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality features. Participate in code reviews and enforce clean‑code, performance, and security best practices. Stay current with evolving cloud, data, and backend engineering trends. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. Strong experience architecting and developing AWS‑based solutions. Experience with containerization (Docker, OpenShift, AWS ECS Fargate, etc.). Extensive background in Java, Spring, Apache Camel, Spring Batch, and large‑scale application development. Hands‑on experience with Kafka and AWS messaging services (SNS/SQS). Strong SQL proficiency (schema design, stored procedures, complex queries) across relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). Experience with DevOps/CI/CD tools (GitHub, Maven, Azure DevOps, Ansible, etc.). Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills. Familiarity with data catalog/lineage tools (Informatica, Manta). Familiarity with data virtualization platforms (Dremio, Denodo). Nice to Have Salesforce integration experience. Experience with AMPS or other in‑memory data platforms (MemSQL, Ignite). Python development skills. Experience with visualization tools (PowerBI, Grafana, ELK). Exposure to advanced AWS services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Redshift, etc.).
