Assist in aircraft movement, placement, and storage as a wing walker. Fulfill pilot's service requests. Receive, store, transfer, and dispense petroleum fuel products. Operate motorized fueling vehicles (fuel tank trucks, automatic transmission). Fuel and de‑fuel aircraft per requirements. Inspect fueling equipment and vehicles; report malfunctions or inconsistencies. Perform accurate fueling calculations. Fuel ground support equipment (gasoline or diesel) as required. Interact with carrier personnel. Utilize hand‑held radios, telephones, and computers for communication. Complete and submit all documentation associated with fueling activities. Respond to fuel emergencies (e.g., fuel spills) utilizing emergency response cart and follow established environmental/company guidelines. Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier security requirements. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Qualifications & Competencies Customer focus – naturally outgoing/extroverted. Strong communication skills with customers and employees in person, on phone, and through radio communications. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by our insurance company (requires clean driving record). Strong computer skills. General math aptitude. Bilingual preferred. Must be willing to work in all weather conditions. Must be dependable and able to take direction from supervisors. Must be able to work in a time‑sensitive, multiple shift, and team‑oriented environment. Reporting Relationship This position reports to the Line Service Manager. Work Environment This position works outside in all types of weather conditions and involves direct contact with both moving and non‑moving aircraft. The position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery. Physical Demands Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery. Outside work in all types of weather conditions. Position may require bending, lifting, walking, stooping, squatting, gripping, and climbing a ladder. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a non‑exempt position. It includes shift work which requires working evenings, weekends, and on scheduled company holidays. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications Customer service experience in the service industry preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. Entry level position. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Acceptable driving record. Ability to pass a background check. Zero tolerance drug‑free employer includes pre‑employment and random screening.
