Pipefitter Apprentice Industrial Construction

Build pipefitting skills with Lee Industrial Contracting in Pontiac, Michigan, using hand tools, basic math, and safety standards. This apprentice position supports installation projects.

Lee Industrial Contracting is a 100% employee-owned industrial contractor founded in 1989. As a Pipefitter Apprentice 1, you will support apprentices and foremen on equipment installation, construction, and service projects. You will follow instructions, handle materials, maintain organized job sites, and gain essential service and installation skills through an employer-sponsored Department of Labor Pipefitting Apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support apprentices and foremen across various industrial projects
• Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Keep job sites clean and well-organized
• Fuel and wash department vehicles

Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude using tape measures and power hand tools
• Basic knowledge of math and geometry
• Ability to participate in sponsored pipefitting apprenticeship training
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces
