Our technology empowers modern companies to automate the processing of inbound and outbound payments by utilizing our software and APIs to accept payments, send payouts, and manage financial transactions. Kapcharge is looking for an experienced payments product expert to deliver innovative payment processing solutions, continuously improve and upgrade our solution, and drive operational excellence. This role reports to the Chief Experience Officer. Job details Pay: $85,000–$95,000 a year Job type: Permanent – Full-time Shift and schedule: Monday to Friday Location: Montreal, QC Company events Dental care Disability insurance Extended health care Life insurance Paid time off Responsibilities Lead the development of the product strategy and product delivery. Understand customer needs and how the product fits in. Collaborate with the software development team. Define metrics to measure the success of product delivery. Manage existing vendors and partners within the payments ecosystem. Work collaboratively with marketing, compliance, risk, account management, underwriting, QA, and other stakeholders to drive outcomes. Prioritize backlog items in sprint. Manage scrum agile framework for project management. Mitigate risks by raising concerns to the team regarding product quality and proposing actions to mitigate the risk. Monitor the competitive environment. Establish and maintain good working relationships with others. Be comfortable with ambiguity and perform well under stress. Other tasks, as needed, to support product needs and the growth of the business. We are excited about you if you have 5+ years experience in payment product delivery, management, and operations with a payment processor, financial institution, or fintech. Proven track record in payment product innovation. Familiarity with PCI, MSBs and the regulatory environment. Planning methodology and relevant experience and proven knowledge of Agile methodology. A passion for payments and an insatiable curiosity for new payment solutions to solve real problems. Ability to work on multiple projects as an individual contributor or in teams. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Atlassian. High energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and professionalism. Location Onsite at our Montreal office (steps from Du College metro station) with opportunity for hybrid after 3 months.
