We are looking for a Technical Consultant to join our Montreal office. Your mission, your role? As an IT SR&ED Technical Consultant and under the supervision of your manager, you will serve as an advisor and partner to your clients. In this capacity, you will bring your expertise in innovation and R&D financing strategy and actively participate in developing a cross‑functional approach to activate all public funding opportunities of interest to them. Responsibilities Carry out technical interviews with clients to identify the SR&ED/innovative nature of their projects. Ensure the completion of missions according to defined deadlines and the established workload plan with the team. Identify optimization opportunities for processes and results. Identify and advise clients on other financing programs they may be eligible for (grants, subsidies, tax credits, etc.). Gather data related to their investments and calculate the amount of SR&ED tax credits and innovation grants. Write technical and economic reports to highlight the scientific aspects of the project. Provide advice and assistance to clients. Participate in internal and external meetings with clients. Requirements DCS Diploma or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields. Minimum of 2 years of experience in SR&ED tax consulting, preferably in the IT sector. Good understanding of SR&ED tax credit regulations and requirements. Proficiency in delivering presentations, fostering interpersonal relationships, active listening, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
