Technical and Market Development Director Join to apply for the Technical and Market Development Director role at AtkinsRéalis . Responsibilities Market-Development: Actively participate in the development of key markets for mechanical & electrical disciplines, including client interaction, key account management meetings, and building a pipeline of upcoming opportunities. Proposal Supervision: Coordinate and/or participate in the preparation of proposals within the mechanical & electrical practice. Project Management: Act as a project manager, discipline lead, or design engineer (design, technical) for project execution. Personnel Coordination: Supervising and coordinating personnel assigned to projects as required. Mentorship and support to the team: Mentor engineers and technicians. Innovation and Design: Drive engineering innovation by exploring new technologies, materials, and design methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in British Columbia (registration in other provinces is an asset). Minimum 10 years of experience working on complex electrical building systems and designing building services across various building types, especially light industrial, healthcare, transportation, and municipal facilities. Minimum 15 years of experience with relevant codes including BCBC, NBC, CEC, ASHRAE 90.1, CSA Standards (C282, Z32, Z317.5, B44, etc.), ULC‑S524 and S537. Experience in market development and strategic vision; proven ability to achieve business development and client relationship objectives, fostering senior‑level relationships with government entities, operators, and developers. Support bids and commercial strategy development for healthcare, transportation, and institutional projects; oversee and manage bid/proposal and delivery of projects (pre‑ and post‑tender). Drive commercial performance, resource planning, and project delivery across a multidisciplinary team. Additional Information Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $114,800 - $179,400 annually (Only Applicable to British Columbia). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role.
