Your role: As Global Relay continues to grow, we are adding another Talent Acquisition Partner to support the continuous and exciting growth goals of our fast-paced SaaS company. Your primary contribution will be to help drive the daily operations of Global Relay’s recruitment efforts. As someone who is committed to increasing employee growth and engagement, you use industry-proven best practices - with a bit of your own twist. Acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and senior stakeholders, you partner closely with leaders to understand business priorities, anticipate future talent needs, and deliver hiring strategies that support our continued growth. You’re proactive, resourceful, and comfortable thinking outside of the box. Although you’re comfortable working as an individual contributor, you like the idea of working as part of a highly collaborative team. Your responsibilities: Manage high-volume full cycle recruitment from sourcing through offer and onboarding, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience Drive strategic HR initiatives including research, recommendations, and implementation of programs and policies Act as strategic advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights, talent mapping, and guidance on hiring strategies aligned with organizational growth Build talent pipelines using data-driven approaches, sourcing tools, and proactive workforce planning Champion recruitment best practices, interview training, and employer branding to strengthen position as employer of choice Establish effective sourcing methods through networking, professional associations, headhunting, and referrals Maintain accurate ATS records and ensure compliance with all hiring policies and practices throughout the recruitment process Conduct candidate application reviews, screening, interviews, and reference checks while managing external agency relationships Serve as escalation point for recruitment issues and provide guidance and support to fellow team members Represent company professionally at recruitment events, career fairs, and networking opportunities Compile recruitment metrics and status reports to track effectiveness and informed decision-making About you: 5+ years of direct sourcing experience, preferably in high-tech software/SaaS industry Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior leaders through data-driven insights and market knowledge Strategic, consultative mindset capable of advising on talent availability and effective interview and selection strategies Knowledge of relevant employment regulations, including employment standards and human rights legislation Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ideally Greenhouse) and advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal) with strong business acumen and attention to detail Solid project management experience with ability to manage moving timelines and changing priorities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent organizational abilities to prioritize and multi-task Self-starter comfortable working independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments Compensation Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with British Columbia’s pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background. The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values. We aim to foster an inspiring work environment and support employees’ work-life rhythms. We provide a comprehensive extended health benefits program, including virtual healthcare and a wellness allowance. Employees also receive annual allotted vacation days, which increase based on tenure. Other benefits include: Paid sick days, maternity/parental enhancement program, bonus, and an RRSP contribution matching program. For Vancouver-based employees, we provide a subsidized meal program, courtesy of our talented in-house culinary team.
