About the Role We're embarking on an exciting initiative to redesign a key software interface used in advanced control systems. This desktop application will play a central role in how operators interact with next‑generation platforms. You'll be part of a collaborative team working at the intersection of software, hardware, and emerging technologies. What You'll Be Doing Contribute to the development of a modern desktop interface for system control Help shape technical decisions around tools, frameworks, and architecture Build user‑friendly applications across multiple operating systems Collaborate with teams across engineering disciplines Support integration with embedded and real‑time systems What We're Looking For Solid experience with modern programming languages and UI frameworks Background in building desktop applications for technical or complex environments Familiarity with cross‑platform development (Windows and/or Linux) Strong problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset Mid‑to‑senior level experience in software development Nice to Have Exposure to robotics or autonomous systems Experience with specialized communication protocols Understanding of control systems or real‑time applications Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burnaby, BC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Burnaby, BC.
