The Family Lawyer will work closely with clients to provide legal guidance and support throughout the legal process.*Duties** Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce proceedings, child custody disputes, and adoption processes.* Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.* Draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.* Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining professional relationships with opposing counsel.* Maintain accurate records of case files and documentation while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.* Provide clients with clear explanations of their legal rights and options throughout the process.* Stay updated on changes in family law legislation and best practices to provide informed advice.*Requirements** Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.B. degree from an accredited law school.* Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.* Proficiency in using LexisNexis for legal research purposes.* Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to advocate effectively for clients.* Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and persuasive legal documents.* Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough research on complex legal issues related to family law.* Prior experience in family law is preferred but not mandatory; strong candidates from other legal backgrounds will be considered.* Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
