As a student at PCL, you will get the opportunity for challenging work assignments in a supportive work environment which promotes personal and professional growth. We are seeking an Estimating Student , for our Solar District that is available for 4-16 months starting May2026. As an Estimating Student and depending on your project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by: Understands and utilizes PCL’s estimating manuals, systems and forms Reviews quantity survey assignment with lead estimator or Chief Estimator Performs assigned quantity survey Gives quantities of major purchase items to purchasing department for pricing Performs bid day assignments Develops relationships with subcontractors Other duties as assigned by the Chief Estimator Qualifications Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset. Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting. The estimated hourly range for this role is $21.37- $31.34, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
