The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing steel structures, including beams, columns, and girders, to form buildings, and other structures. This role requires a high level of precision, safety awareness, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Assemble and Install Steel Structures: Erect steel frames, beams, columns, and other structural components according to drawings and specifications. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Equipment Operation: Operate hoists and other equipment to position steel components accurately. Welding and Bolting: Perform welding, bolting, and other fastening techniques to secure steel components. Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Collaboration: Work closely with other construction professionals, including engineers, architects, and site managers, to ensure project success. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during the erection process. Qualifications Experience: Proven experience as a Steel Erector or in a similar role. Skills: Strong understanding of construction blueprints and specifications, excellent hand-eye coordination, and physical stamina. Safety Awareness: Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in steel erection. Licenses/Certifications: Relevant certifications are preferred. Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
