Operate TRUMPF laser cutting equipment in Port Coquitlam on the graveyard shift. Produce prototype and production sheet metal parts to customer specifications.
Wesgar seeks an experienced TRUMPF Laser Operator for full-time, permanent, in-person production work. You will set up machinery, read blueprints, inspect completed parts, and address machine, tooling, or quality issues. Strong mechanical aptitude and independent work skills are important for this manufacturing position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate TRUMPF laser cutting equipment
- Read job travellers, setup sheets, blueprints, and instructions
- Measure completed parts against specifications and quality requirements
- Identify and report machine, tooling, or quality issues
- Perform cleaning, lens checks, nozzle checks, and basic maintenance
Requirements:
- Experience operating TRUMPF or similar CNC laser machinery
- Basic mechanical blueprint reading skills
- Experience using calipers and tape measures
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Bring laser cutting experience, blueprint reading, and quality inspection skills to Wesgar’s Port Coquitlam production team.
