Job Description Plan, manage, and lead the delivery of system requirements in alignment with standards and frameworks. Provide technical leadership and collaborate with partners and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and manage functional and non‑functional requirements. Lead the delivery of detailed system requirements and technical and functional specifications that align with standards and frameworks. Collaborate with business and technology partners, project teams, and stakeholders to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and manage detailed functional specifications. Meaningful work is fueled by performance and career development conversations with managers. Work with technology partners (e.g., Solution Designers and Architects) to research and analyze current system capabilities and define technology solutions, options, and recommendations. Define, document, and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, considering non‑functional requirements. Assist testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing. Contribute to project management activities, including scoping, estimating project efforts, identifying risks, recommending mitigation measures, communicating activity status, and escalating issues. Participate in quality management reviews, including designs, prototypes, and other requirements work products. Work closely with stakeholders to determine solutions, assess impact on existing processes and systems, and identify integration management strategies. Provide operational and process‑related analysis and support. Respect existing processes and standards, including requirements management, project management disciplines, technology delivery, and business technology architecture; escalating issues as needed. Stay abreast of technology trends and developments, and develop expertise in TD services, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools, and techniques across business domains and product lines. Report to a Senior Manager, Practice Lead, or above. Coach less experienced colleagues and serve as a reference point throughout the requirements management lifecycle. Experience & Education Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate. 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst. 5+ years in the financial industry. Strong knowledge/experience with Data Flows, Oracle or SQL, Integrations, and ETLs. Experience with API requirements and mapping request/responses – Nice to have. Experience working independently as a Business Analyst or system analyst. Experience acting as a subject matter expert and consultant; contributor to potential project assessments. Experience in Agile Methodology is a must. Experience with Canadian deposit products is an asset. Experience in any other Credit Banking or Business Banking applications is an asset. Advanced to Expert knowledge of system analysis process and techniques. Advanced to Expert knowledge of systems and applications supported by the team, including components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rules. Advanced to Expert knowledge of enterprise technology delivery practices and standards, including design, development, testing, and project management.
