Drop-In Monitor – Town of Oakville Open to all current Town of Oakville employees and external applicants. This role assists with the supervision of the Town of Oakville drop‑in programs. Job Details Part‑Time (Non‑Union) Posting Status: Open Closing Date: March 31, 2026, 11:59 p.m. Responsibilities Arrive at the program site on time to properly prepare for the day’s program and start/end the program according to schedule. Ensure the continuing safety of all participants while at the program. Maintain accurate attendance records and proof of payment for each participant. Create and enforce a positive and respectful environment for participants. Assist with daily set up/clean‑up of the program site. Provide exceptional customer service, assisting any customers with questions regarding Town of Oakville programs. Apply safety precautions and procedures in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Town of Oakville policies. Notify the supervisor of any problems/recommendations concerning participants that may affect program quality. Attend and participate in all staff training sessions. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Responsible independent worker. Strong communication skills to deal effectively with staff and public. Exceptional customer service skills. Motivated with passion and knowledge in program activity. Knowledge of Town of Oakville drop‑in programs is an asset. Standard First Aid AED/CPR certification. Successful candidates who are new hires or have not previously performed in this position must provide a satisfactory criminal record check dated within the last 30 days as a condition of employment.
