In this permanent position, you will supervise Senior Accountants and Accounting clerks, ensuring full cycle accounting services for local co-ops. Your role includes managing year-end processes for accurate financial statements and collaborating with finance managers for guidance on accounting standards. You will also be responsible for preparing and operating within the annual plan and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead team of accounting professionals in daily operations
• Supervise the year-end financial statement process
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Collaborate on system guidance for accounting standards
• Manage the team's annual plan and budget
Requirements:
• 6-9 years of accounting experience, 3+ in supervision
• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Business
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment
