Purpose: The Senior Analyst of Market Forecasting & Competitive Analytics is a part of a team with expertise in the delivery of forecasts and competitive analytics to enable data-driven decision-making across the enterprise and within the Innovative Medicine and MedTech sectors. You will be responsible for: Conduct market research to assess the impact of the external environment of J&J businesses Maintain key competitor benchmarking data used in strategic analyses, financial reviews, and investment planning Maintain market and forecasting models by sector, business units (BU), and therapeutic areas (TA) to enable short- and long-term financial planning Develop understanding of the market through knowledge sharing and business acumen and product awareness Collaborate with BU and TA stakeholders to understand market dynamics and business priorities to deliver relevant insights Perform advanced analytics to reveal insights related to market and share, New Product Introductions, and customer dynamics Evolve reporting visualization capabilities to generate self-service analytics via PowerBI and/or Tableau Leverage AI‑capabilities and evolving data sources to enable continuous process improvement Create high‑impact presentations and communications designed for executive leadership Demonstrate prioritization skills and sense of urgency to deliver on projects deadlines Ensure data integrity and identify anomalies to verify accuracy Qualifications / Requirements: BS, BA (or equivalent) in business analytics, finance, data science, or related field 3-5 years professional experience Tech Skills: Technical capabilities to deliver market models & insights that enable informed decision making (e.g., MS Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) Industry Insights & Analytics: Connect elements of the market ecosystem Business Acumen: Understanding of the J&J portfolio and external market dynamics Financial Acumen: P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Management, Sales Forecasting Agility & Growth Mindset: Flexible & creative mindset that adapts to shifting priorities Communications & Influencing Skills: Clear, concise messaging; navigate a matrixed environment with a high degree of collaboration Project Management: Rigorous execution of strategic priorities in accordance with timelines Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $79,000 to $127,650. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
