Intermediate Mining Engineer

This division provides a full range of services to industrial and mining operators, including all engineering services. What you can expect to do here Participate in design reviews of mining projects; Evaluate new technologies, mining methods and mine designs; Analyze data and select mine design parameters; Participate in technical studies on mining projects; Assist in the preparation of bids for underground and open pit mining project evaluations and technical reports (PEA, PFS, FS or other); Collaborate in the design of mines using specialized software such as Deswik; Request budgetary prices for mining equipment or others; Assist project managers as needed; Perform all other related tasks that may help in the realization of the project. What you’ll bring to WSP Mining Engineer with 2-8 yrs experience; Mine Engineering degree from an accredited University; Rigor, sense of initiative, attention to detail; Ability to work in a team; Experience with Mine Design and Scheduling; Experience with Underground Mine Design considered an asset; Strong Experience with Deswik CAD and Sched; Experience in mining operations considered an asset; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Must be flexible to travel.
