Summary Position: Programming Specialist, Bell MediaJob Status: Temporary - Full TimeLocation: 299 Queen Street West (Toronto)Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experienceHours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required Key Responsibilities Support the day to day operations of the English Entertainment Programming Team Support the scheduling and strategy across CTV, CTV2, and Entertainment Specialty Channels with critical analysis of rights, audience trends, and resources to make programming decisions Support the maintenance of base schedules & planning schedules for all stations Compile and maintain accurate information on current & upcoming series Track all US primetime programming, ensuring accurate adherence to contractual programming obligations Compile historic scheduling data and maintain programming reports as needed to support the linear and digital schedules Liaise with internal Bell media teams to effectively communicate key programming information Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all programming information is up to date Support the team in the creation of presentations and other programming documents as needed Other duties as required Critical Qualifications Post-secondary degree or diploma in digital media or television preferred At least 2 years’ experience working in film, television, and/or on demand programming Must be highly organized, detail oriented, a clear communicator and comfortable interacting with external and internal senior and junior staff members Must have a passion for and knowledge of television, film and pop culture both past and present A keen interest in and knowledge of the Canadian streaming and traditional television landscape Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite. Ability to work well under pressure, possess excellent time management skills, be a self-starter, multi-task and meet assigned deadlines Familiarity with legal contracts & rights management is an asset Familiarity with IBMS, , Micro Strategies, , SmartSheet and/or other scheduling and broadcasting software is an asset Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
