Mid-Level Network Programmer Professional Experience: Professional experience in network/multiplayer game programming using C, C++ or C#, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work on multiplayer games. Ability to develop and debug multiplayer systems. Understanding of client-server architecture principles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all team members. Strong organizational and prioritization abilities. Knowledge of technical considerations and best practices for Networking in online games. Deep knowledge and experience working with the UDP protocol. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain network systems and features to support multiplayer gameplay in Unreal Engine. Debug and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring a smooth and stable online gaming experience. Work closely with other departments (programming, design, QA) to ensure cohesive and efficient network functionality. Maintain up to date knowledge of shifting paradigms and techniques involving all aspects of online multiplayer gaming and networking. Nomad's Way Game Studio is seeking a skilled Mid Network Programmer to take part in our upcoming survival game project. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in developing and optimizing network systems for multiplayer games. You will work closely with other programmers, designers, and engineers to ensure seamless and efficient online gameplay experiences for our players. Preferred Qualifications: Over 3+ years of professional game development experience, specifically in having shipped titles with AAA quality art, animation and gameplay. Experience developing with Unreal Engine 4/5. Experience working on co-op games within the survival genre.
