Overview Calgary Structural Engineers is looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer (P.Eng) with 4-15 years of experience. Must live in the Calgary area with Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from a Canadian University. Calgary Structural Engineers is a small engineering firm that focuses on life style and professionalism. We service small civil and structural projects nation wide from our downtown Calgary office. We are looking for a self-motivated P.Eng who is certified in Alberta, and can be certified throughout Canada. The engineer will require 4 years of experience with a P.Eng designation and be able to work independently on small projects. The candidate will be working from a home office and must be willing and available to work during Eastern Standard Time 8am-5pm Monday - Friday. Must have a valid drivers license and a vehicle to use for work. Responsibilities On-site inspections in and around the City of Calgary Wood, Concrete and Steel detailed design work for residential and small industrial projects Tributary area loading calculations Screw Pile installation verification and conformation review Framing and timber frame design Review and checking drawing package for structural and building code checks Retaining wall design work Miscellaneous Civil and Structural design work Qualifications P.Eng active member: AB, NB, NS, ON or BC (willing to obtain P.Eng status in all or most provinces in Canada) Living in Canada Excellent English oral and written communication skills required Bachelor's or Master7s degree in Civil Engineering from a Canadian university #J-18808-Ljbffr
