Senior Manager, Advisor Marketing Location: Toronto office, Canada Overview Wellington-Altus, founded in 2017, is a leading investment dealer with nearly $40B in assets under administration and offices across Canada. As the parent company of multiple entities, we partner with entrepreneurial advisors and portfolio managers and their high‑net‑worth clients. Opportunity Reporting to the Vice‑President, Advisor Marketing, the Senior Manager, Advisor Marketing will lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives designed to support financial advisors and drive business growth. This role involves developing comprehensive marketing strategies and scalable marketing solutions, creating targeted content, managing campaigns and analyzing performance to ensure engagement with advisors and clients while driving growth. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning and Execution Develop and implement marketing strategies tailored to support financial advisors, aligning with the organization’s overall business goals. Act as a resource person for clients, generating specialized reports and answering product‑related questions. Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print and event‑based channels. Analyze market trends, advisor needs and the competitive landscape to inform and optimize marketing strategies. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and broader business objectives. Content Creation and Management Oversee the creation of high‑quality content that engages financial advisors, including emails, brochures, presentations, webinars and videos. Collaborate with other marketing areas to maximize content opportunities and transform content into turnkey solutions for advisors. Ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines and tailored to the target audience. Develop thought‑leadership materials to position the organization as an industry leader and trusted partner. Ensure content remains relevant, up‑to‑date and valuable to advisors’ goals. Campaign Management Lead end‑to‑end campaign development, from ideation and strategy to execution and analysis, ensuring timely delivery and maximum impact. Manage advisor‑outreach campaigns, both automated and personalized, to drive engagement and generate leads. Optimize marketing efforts through continuous analysis of campaign performance and data‑driven adjustments to improve results. Monitor KPIs and ROI to assess campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Relationship Management Build and nurture relationships with individual advisor teams and key advisor segments to understand their needs and challenges. Organize and execute advisor‑focused events, webinars and workshops to strengthen relationships and provide valuable insights. Develop strategies to increase advisor engagement, satisfaction and retention through personalized communications and targeted offerings. Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing‑related support and inquiries from financial advisors. Collaborate with key stakeholders to align marketing efforts with sales initiatives and product offerings. Partner with the Digital Marketing team to ensure seamless integration of advisor marketing strategies across all online platforms. Process Optimization Act as the Vice‑President’s right hand in identifying process optimizations to reduce response times and time to market, promoting effective decision‑making and scalable solutions. Leadership Manage a team of two, setting performance standards and fostering a high‑performing environment. Help build the VP’s high‑performing team and manage talent development of junior marketing associates. Coach the team through on‑the‑job training, setting accountability standards and sharing best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior manager role. Experience within the financial services or advisor marketing space is an asset. Deep knowledge of marketing platforms and tools including CMS, SEO, SEM, digital advertising, email marketing, lead nurturing, social media management, analytics, content creation, creative design, customer journey mapping and marketing attribution. Proficiency with MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook. Deep knowledge of the financial services industry and the unique marketing needs of financial advisors. Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to financial services marketing. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing programs that drive advisor growth, lead generation and client retention. Demonstrated accountability, reliability, adaptability and innovation in accomplishing day‑to‑day work and long‑term goals. Excellent attitude and commitment to providing extraordinary service. High attention to detail. Exemplary interpersonal and influencing skills, communicating effectively across in‑person, phone and virtual platforms. Strong problem‑solving, organizational, critical thinking, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality. High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to manage a large volume of competing priorities. Conditions of Employment Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. A background check, satisfactory to the employer, may be required before commencing employment. Must be able to travel within Canada 0–10% of the time.
