Connex is seeking an individual who can carry out a wide range of tasks pertaining to the development of applications and systems solutions. You can expect to work with a diversly skilled team of technology professionals who will strengthen your skills at the same time.


Front-End Technologies:

  1. HTML/CSS: Proficiency in creating responsive and accessible web pages.
  2. JavaScript: Strong understanding of JavaScript and its frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js2.
  3. UI/UX Design: Basic knowledge of design principles and tools like Figma or Adobe XD can be beneficial.


Back-End Technologies:

  1. Server-Side Languages: Experience with languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP2.
  2. Frameworks: Familiarity with frameworks like Spring(for Java) MUST HAVE, Express.js (for Node.js), or Django (for Python)


Databases:

  1. SQL Databases: Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
  2. NoSQL Databases: Experience with MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.


Version Control:

  1. Git: Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration on platforms like GitHub or GitLab3.


DevOps and Cloud Services:

  1. CI/CD: Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
  2. Containerization: Experience with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  3. Cloud Services: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform3.


Soft Skills

  1. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  2. Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  3. Adaptability: Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing project requirements3.
  4. Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to a collaborative culture.


Experience

  1. Work Experience: Previous experience as a web developer or in a similar role, typically around 3-5 years1.
  2. Project Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing completed projects, especially those demonstrating full stack capabilities
  3. Experience with application development in the contact center areas like IVR and CTI applications is highly preferred.


Additional Considerations

  1. Security Practices: Knowledge of web security principles and best practices.
  2. Testing: Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
  3. APIs: Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
