team at Robert E. Wilson PS. R.E. Wilson is a K to 6 school with a very diverse population. Our students speak multiple languages and have rich lived experiences. We have approximately 180 students shared between 10 homerooms. As staff at RE Wilson we expect to have a positive impact on our students academic success and their social emotional wellbeing. As a successful member of our team you must be professional, creative, flexible, proactive and a problem solver who prioritizes student success and prides yourself in championing students and families.

Eligibility List

This posting is open to all Occasional Teachers who DO NOT already have a part time contract, prior to September 1, 2024. Any OT's who were awarded a contract for September 1, 2024, are considered an OT until August 31, 2024, and must apply to List 2B contracts as an OT applicant.

Required OCT Divisional Qualifications: Primary/Junior

Required OCT Additional Qualifications: FSL Part 1

Additional Qualifications, Experience, or Knowledge that would be an asset to this Position:

Spec Ed qualifications are an asset. Knowledge of and experience with the S.A.T.E. initiative is an asset to be successful in this role.

Additional Information:

Candidate will be working with a busy and curious group of students with rich and strong connections to their first language and culture from around the world. The successful educator should have experience or a willingness to work in a community school with a focus on supporting students to achieve academic excellence, and a strong commitment to building relationships and engaging and inspire students in meaningful ways. Will be teaching students in each class that have IEPs with accommodations and modifications, MLL students and students with self regulation alternative IEP goal.
