**Job Title: Welder****Job Description**We are seeking a skilled welder who can read blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and measurements to plan layout and procedures. The ideal candidate will determine and set up welding equipment and components based on job specifications, follow blueprints/technical schematics, and examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications. Additionally, this role requires understanding plans and requirements for each task, assembling component parts using appropriate hand/small power tools, and cleaning and maintaining all equipment and tools to ensure a safe and clean working area.**Responsibilities**Read blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and measurements to plan layout and procedures.Determine and set up welding equipment and components based on job specifications.Follow blueprints/technical schematics.Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.Understand plans and requirements for each task.Assemble component parts using appropriate hand/small power tools.Clean and maintain all equipment and tools and maintain a safe and clean working area.**Essential Skills**3+ years of MIG (SMAW)/TIG welding experience.Ability to read and interpret drawings.Experience in fabrication and fitting.Proficiency with hand tools.Blueprint reading skills.Experience with MIG & TIG welding.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**CWB certification is a plus.Working at heights experience is advantageous.Forklift experience (counterbalance), no external certification required.**Why Work Here?**Once permanent, enjoy comprehensive health and dental benefits, 100% coverage for PPE, uniforms, and a Group RRSP with a 3% match. Work 8.5-hour days with a non-paid lunch and two paid 15-minute breaks. Overtime is compensated at 1.5 times the rate after 40 hours and for Saturdays, and double time for Sundays.
