Job Summary The Programmer Analyst I role contributes to the design, development, testing and maintenance of education and administrative platforms. As part of the Agile development team, the role collaborates closely with Product Leads, Solution Architects, and partners to deliver secure, reliable and user‑focused applications. Responsibilities include programming, debugging, documenting and supporting the software development lifecycle while ensuring best practices in data privacy, security and development standards. Responsibilities Integral member of an Agile software development team. Work with Product Leads and Solution Architects to plan software projects. Collaborate with partners to design, develop and support education and administrative platforms and solutions. Design, develop, test, maintain, and support platforms. Follow best practices to ensure data privacy and security. Participate in refinement, estimation, planning, and demo features to stakeholders. Contribute to documenting processes, designs, and guidelines and continuous improvement activities. Maintain professional designations and keep up‑to‑date knowledge. Core Duties Program software applications and services. Conduct testing and debugging to meet specifications. Prepare programming documentation for supported programs. Support the software development lifecycle and follow appropriate methodologies. Maintain professional designations and current knowledge of IT techniques and tools. Participate in project planning and implementation. Build and maintain good working relationships to achieve client objectives. Perform other related duties as required. Consequence of Error/Judgement Contributes to decisions regarding the design and development of education and administrative platforms. Errors may impact security and privacy of data and strategic goals. Supervision Received Works with moderate latitude. Work is reviewed for achievement of results. Receives guidance from senior developers, product leads, and project managers. Supervision Given May manage staff and be responsible for hiring, evaluation, discipline, and termination. Minimum Qualifications Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline. Minimum of two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with relational database development. Experience with scripting languages and version control Git. Effective problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to seek advice on tasks and responsibilities when needed. Ability to identify and document processes within area of responsibility. Experience in a mixed software development and software maintenance role. Experience with software development in Linux and Microsoft server environments. Experience with web development languages HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Java, C#, and frameworks Laravel, React, Vue.js, Node.js. Experience with CI/CD tools Bamboo, Maven.
