The impact you’ll make As Design Director, you will lead the visual expression of Saje’s brand, evolving and solidifying brand foundations across all channels. With the Executive Creative Director, you will build brand standards, oversee concept creation, and inspire teams in motion, photography, and motion graphics. Your work will support commercial, CRM, e‑commerce, and retail platforms, balancing brand integrity with growth imperatives. What you’ll do Oversee, empower, and mentor an agile design team from brief to delivery across diverse media. Act as a channel‑agnostic strategist, applying best practices across digital, social, retail, and performance. Implement global brand systems that adapt to multiple markets while maintaining consistency. Develop design systems and efficient workflows, including AI‑empowered tools. Lead photography and motion shoots, supervising execution through postproduction. Create compelling presentations to pitch concepts, build stakeholder consensus, and secure approvals. Balance execution and management, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. Champion innovative experience design that reflects the brand’s personality. Collaborate closely with resource management to ensure project cohesion. Act with urgency, business maturity, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Communicate solutions, listen to feedback, and engage as an active Creative team member. Stay aware of industry trends, creative leaders, and competitive landscape. We’d love to hear from you if you have 12+ years of agency or brand‑side experience in a people‑management role. A portfolio that showcases mastery across mediums and long‑term brand building. Experience building flexible brand universes from strategic insights, using design systems. Proficiency in CX‑focused design, applying design thinking through the funnel. Skill in digital, e‑commerce, CRM, retail, and conceptual content creation. Expertise with Adobe, Figma, and AI tools; motion graphics and editing a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. A positive, solution‑oriented leadership style with mentoring experience. Relevant category experience in beauty, retail, CPG, health, or wellness is preferred. Why Saje? We offer a competitive compensation range of $130,000–$150,000 annually, with base pay dependent on location and market.
