Job Description Summary As a member of our field staff, you’re part of a large team that shares the workload and supports one another at every turn. Field staff are responsible for delivering and installing temporary fence. They work together with guidance from our Supervisor and Operations Manager throughout the day. They arrive together, load their trucks together, and always strive to deliver the best customer experience possible. Full in‑depth training and coaching is provided to all field staff, along with forklift certification. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and interacts with clients, Sunbelt's Operations team, and its counterparts daily. Qualifications Experience driving a one‑tonne truck delivering materials to and from various job sites safely Experience supervising the crew and acting as the lead hand once on site Familiar with safely setting up and tearing down fence Experience completing operational paperwork (job reports, truck inventory logs, site checklists, etc.) as directed Knowledgeable of Sunbelt's key products/services; understands how to resolve customer issues Sufficient experience working closely with the Operations team and solving on‑site issues Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Clean driver’s abstract and valid Class 5 License Ability to work weekends/longer hours when required Ability to physically handle (lift, carry, etc.) heavy fence panels Ability to navigate to sites to ensure the crew arrives in the safest and most expedient way possible Must have own transportation Safe and defensive driving habits Experience operating tablets and smartphones Knowledge of general tools and equipment (drills, power washer, painters, banding equipment, etc.) considered an asset Benefits Competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits program Prescription, paid sick day & vacation, vision coverage, short- & long‑term disability coverage Group RRSP plan, company‑wide profit‑sharing program Tuition & Tool Reimbursement Program; Boots Allowance program Career development opportunities within the equipment rental industry Promotion from within; career track across various roles Safe, healthy, inclusive, and sustainable community culture Integrity and commitment to high engagement Love working with an incredible team of people in a safety‑driven culture Physical Demands The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required.
