About the Role We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Application Developer with strong frontend and server-side engineering experience building multi-platform AI applications across web, mobile, and smart/connected devices (e.g., smart glasses). This role is responsible not only for user-facing experiences but also for the backend systems that enable reliable, scalable, and secure AI-powered applications. Key Responsibilities Develop end-to-end AI application flows, integrating user interfaces with backend APIs and services built in Python (FastAPI) to support real-time inference, data exchange, and AI workflow orchestration. Architect and implement scalable, secure server-side systems that power AI-driven applications, including request handling, model invocation, data persistence, and observability. Collaborate closely with ML and platform teams to operationalize machine learning models into user-facing applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and clear failure modes. Implement robust state management and data-flow patterns (e.g., Redux Toolkit) to support complex, real-time, and data-intensive application behavior. Build and integrate cross-platform and native components using Swift, Kotlin, or equivalent where platform-specific performance, hardware access, or UX is required (e.g., cameras, sensors, smart glasses). Optimize applications for latency, responsiveness, and reliability, especially in AI-driven and real-time interaction scenarios. Work closely with ML engineers to connect trained models with production applications and optimize AI feature performance. Contribute to and support AI model training, testing, and evaluation and data teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready AI experiences. Required Skills and Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience building production-grade web and/or mobile applications, with demonstrated ownership of complex, user-facing systems. Solid experience designing and consuming backend APIs and services, with practical expertise in Python and modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI. Working knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, including model inference, latency considerations, and integrating trained models into production applications. Experience collaborating with ML engineers and data teams to operationalize machine learning models, support model testing and evaluation, and deliver reliable AI-powered features. Strong understanding of state management and data-flow patterns, including hands-on experience with tools such as Redux Toolkit for complex, real-time applications. Experience building or integrating native and cross-platform components using Swift, Kotlin, or equivalent, particularly where direct hardware access, sensors, or performance optimization is required. Experience with AI API integrations (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, NVIDIA Triton, custom REST/gRPC endpoints). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP Vertex AI, AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, Kubernetes clusters). Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across product, design, ML, and platform teams in a fast-paced environment.
