JOB OVERVIEW Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results‑driven professional to join our team in the role of Authorized Senior Advisor. Reporting to the Operations & Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for Operations Outage project planning and execution coordination. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Provide expert knowledge of nuclear power plant operations, including system interface, licensing, regulations, and engineering principles. Coach and facilitate an engaged, inclusive, and empowered team, supporting staff development and performance optimization. Develop and manage strategic work programs, business plans, and staffing deployment, ensuring effective reporting and analysis of costs, human performance, and program effectiveness. Design, deliver, and assess training programs, including lectures, simulator demonstrations, and examinations for staff and CNSC qualifications. Lead or participate in teams to achieve operational goals, support issue resolution, and guide staff on training, compliance, and best practices. Maintain and update departmental documentation, monitor operational changes, conduct routine assessments, and implement corrective actions as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Previously certified by a regulator to operate a Nuclear Power Plant Strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams The ability to deliver and assess training and lead simulations Previous experience as a Senior Reactor Operator or Reactor Operator is an asset Previous Outage department planning experience The successful candidate will exhibit uncompromising integrity and commitment to upholding corporate values, and the OPG Code of Business Conduct.
