BI Functional Analyst Information Technology Unique Mission The BI Functional Analyst will have to provide a complete understanding of the business needs and requirements relating to development requests and the evolution of corporate data systems. Reporting to the Data & Analytics (BI) Director, you will contribute to proposing new innovative solutions adapted to the needs of the circus. You will have an active role from start to finish in the development process, from impact assessment on our data platform, to analysis, modeling, integration and post‑delivery user support. Your main objective will be to rationalize and simplify data consumption while guaranteeing the consistency, availability and quality of the data on our platform. All this according to the expectations of the business lines and the IT directives in terms of architecture, governance and information security. Responsibilities Prepare and lead sessions for collecting and prioritizing data analysis and publication needs with the client's business analyst. Contribute with architects and information security specialists to define optimal solutions that meet business requirements. Perform data profiling and write functional specification documents and corresponding test strategies. Support BI developers during the realization of Business Intelligence solutions. Perform functional and quality assurance testing of developed solutions and coordinate acceptance testing activities. Analyze the impacts on Business Intelligence solutions of upcoming changes to source systems. Contribute to the resolution of incidents. Participate and collaborate with the client's business analyst, in the collection of requirements, estimates and test cases. Ensure operational excellence by monitoring and proposing continuous improvements to maximize efficiency and availability of the overall platform. Produce functional documentation of the data platform (Wiki, functional specifications and mapping of the needs covered). Unique Expertise Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, business administration, or equivalent experience. Proven professional experience in functional analysis for Business Intelligence solutions. Good working knowledge of SQL language and Microsoft SQLServer database. Experience with methodologies and technologies related to Business Intelligence solutions in terms of architecture (Data Warehouse, Data Counter…), data modeling (3‑NF, Multidimensional…) and data visualization (Storytelling…). Ability to establish and effectively communicate priorities. Excellent analytical, documentation and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as with multidisciplinary teams, sense of initiative and good sense of organization. Bilingual (French and English) with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Any experience in setting up data governance is an asset.
