As a Store Manager at The Shoe Co., you will report to the District Manager and lead the store environment, fostering inclusivity and diverse customer connections. You will coach and lead the team to achieve store objectives, including in‑store sales, web orders, goals, recruiting, performance management, training, and development. Your ability to problem‑solve, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, lead a dynamic team, and execute operational excellence will be key to your success. Key Job Accountabilities Assume leadership with accountability for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences. Facilitate achievement of business results by role‑modeling a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity. Lead an operationally sound business by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling. Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who have a love of shoes. Achieve company objectives and enhance The Shoe Co. brand image by modeling our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/humility. Develop and implement agile business plans to achieve results. Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district. Maintain effective, open lines of communication with Senior Operational Managers. Qualifications Relevant post‑secondary education. Minimum 4 years of experience in a progressive retail supervisory role. Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets in large‑volume top doors. Positive and energetic team player with strong leadership capability. Proven ability to motivate others. Proficiency in computer use, including e‑mail, MS Word, and Excel. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while creating a compelling customer experience. Ability to work days, closing shifts, and weekends. Mobile within a geographic area.
