Base pay range CA$43.00/hr - CA$47.00/hr Role: Electrical Designer LeadType: 6 month contractLocation: Onsite 3-5x/week in Cambridge, ONRate: $43-$47/hrJob Description Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Designer Team Lead to join a leading global automation company within the Life Sciences arm of the business. This position involves overseeing a team of electrical designers as well as collaborating with various engineering teams to support proposals, oversee projects from start to finish, and enhance overall electrical safety and functionality in design practices. Additionally, the role ensures compliance with automation electrical design standards, approves material requisitions, and maintains budget and schedule forecasts while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role is hybrid with 3x week onsite in Cambridge. Required Skills and Experience 6+ years of experience in electrical control systems design, preferably in industrial automation Working understanding of regulations and standards that govern electrical safety in industrial automation on a global scale (UL 508A, NFPA 79, National Electrical Code, Europe 60204 and ISO standards) Must be familiar with electrical calculations Must understand machine safety and safety levels Must have soft leadership skills (strong communication skills, self driven, and has a team mentality) Nice to Have Skills and Experience Experience with Eplan Experience with AutoCAD electrical Experience with quoting Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Contract Industries Automation Machinery Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
