The Uber Airports team manages the largest segment within Uber’s rides business. If you’re interested in working on something impactful and used by millions of people, consider joining our team What the Candidate Will Do Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and build cross-functional solutions. Dive deep into multiple tech stacks across the company to create scalable micro-services and implement efficient algorithms. Track the success of your feature experiments, collaborating with Data Science and Product teams to iterate on delightful user experiences. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of experience in backend software systems. Proficient in one or more object oriented programming languages (e.g. Golang, Java, C#). Proficient in writing unit tests and integration tests. Preferred Qualifications BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field. Experience with distributed systems or microservice architectures. Experience with relational databases and distributed storage systems (MySQL, Cassandra). Good written, verbal communication skills. Strong collaboration skills Passion for learning new technologies Experience with shipping efficient, reliable, crash-free code that reaches millions of users. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
