Accent Specialist – Remote Position Base pay range: $25.00/hr - $35.00/hr Location: Remote Commitment: Flexible hours Type: Contract About The Job Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Role Responsibilities Call a demo line and record short sessions on the caller side only. Ensure calls sound natural by varying tone, pace, and including small pauses or filler words. Use real phone calls, not VoIP, and include some background noise for realism. Deliver up to 30 phone calls in 6 variations, totaling ~180 calls. Enter call data on a shared sheet, including metadata (phone call code, speaker ID, gender, age group, primary language, and geographic ethnicity). Qualifications Must be based in the USA, Canada, or UK. Must have a South African Accent from South Africa.
