Project Manager – Municipal Transportation (Ontario) at GHD Location Markham, Whitby, Mississauga, or Toronto office. Responsibilities Successful leadership delivering municipal road, bridge, and transit planning and design projects. Applying transportation solutions such as BRT, complete streets, green infrastructure, curb management, protected intersections, and roundabouts. Driving high‑quality results, client satisfaction, and strong financial performance to support the growth of our transportation portfolio. Leading multi‑disciplinary teams for preliminary and detail design transportation projects for municipal clients as a Project Manager and/or Assistant Project Manager. Taking ownership of all aspects of project management from proposal to close‑out, including managing teams, sub‑consultants, budgets, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Providing technical and project leadership and mentorship to junior staff. Working in small and large teams, owning integration with other engineering disciplines to produce high‑quality deliverables. Promoting best practices and leadership in technical delivery and project management. Contributing to the development and execution of the business development strategy for relevant clients, including enhancing client relationships, identifying opportunities, creating capture plans, and leading proposals. Qualifications Post‑secondary degree in Civil Engineering. Ontario P.Eng. designation required (or eligible). 10+ years’ experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects, including project management experience. Experience working with municipal transportation clients within the Greater Toronto Area. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven track record of developing, mentoring, and leading professional technical staff.
